Shoutout to my mom 💕☀️ This is the photo when she visited me in America when I just started college in Portland.
My family was never rich, we’re just a normal middle class family from Vietnam. The idea of going to America was crazy. American college and American life was expensive as hell! But somehow my mom found a way to figure money out, jump started my careers when I was younger. After all these years, my whole family is still surprised how I made it through 7 years in America. We ran out all the money in the house after every of my school year. Back then I couldn’t legally work in America, and the thought of money always stressed me out, but I did the only thing I could - focusing on my art, music, being the best student, I just did everything I could to get the best out of the time I was in the States. It’s like a dream now, all the years of hard work added up, I’m independent now. My family is doing great, everyone is healthy, I’m happy now ☀️ But yeah, mad respect to my mom ✨
